Matt is a combat veteran of the marine corps, and a former deputy sheriff. Like many other veterans, Matt's had a series of jobs after his military and civil service, and he struggled with finding the right cultural and strategic fit for himself. Since then he co-founded Signal Fire Media as a full-spectrum creative agency. Matt oversees the business development side of the business, and manages the day to day operations of his team. His transition to entrepreneurship has granted Matt the freedom and strategic vision for building his own business with a cultural structure that aligns with who he is as a veteran and working professional.
